HOW TO TELL GOOD CHIA FROM BAD CHIA
Below are shown two photos of good (left) bad (right) being sold in the market today. (We would never sell what is shown on the right.) Good chia is only black (dark grey) or white (cream). Brown seeds are either weed seeds or immature chia seeds. If they are immature seeds they are lower quality, and contain less omega3, protein, etc. For whole seed it is easy to tell good from bad, but in milled (ground) chia it is impossible to tell the quality.
