We have three forms of chia seed: whole black, whole white and milled black seed.
In terms of composition they are essentially the same, and really the difference is in terms of consumer preference. We personally prefer the whole seed. One thing we tell parents is that if their children do not like the seeds, it is easier to "hide" the milled seed in their foods.
